How SF Dance sources, checks and labels Bay Area dance listings.

Where listings come from

We list every Bay Area dance event we can find — including events run by other promoters and venues. Listings come from organizers' own ticket pages and calendars, from organizers who submit them to us, and from our own nights. Every listing links to its original source; we reproduce the facts the source publishes and don't editorialize about other events.

How we check them

Imported listings are re-checked against their source each time we import. Submitted events are reviewed by a person before they appear.

Listing is free

Anyone can submit an event for free. Paying never decides whether an event is listed.

Paid placements are labeled

Paid placements are always labeled "Sponsored" or "Featured" where they appear.

Corrections and removal

Every event page has a "Something wrong? Tell us" link. Organizers can claim a listing or contact us (info@sfdance.com).
